Taken during the long hours of medical study, these images began as an accident of attention, the tops or bottoms of tea cups, coffee mugs and smoothie glasses. The residues of the long hours, became the surfaces of unknown worlds: cratered, luminous, silent. A small act of wonder stolen from exhaustion.
